What does it mean if my account isn't activated?
After your account application has been approved, you will then receive an e-mail with an activation link. Simply click on the activation link to unlock your account. You will then be able to login to your account. Note: As this email is an automatically generated message, your Anti-Spam Software may filter the e-mail out. Please check your "Bulk" or "Junk" folder. Please get in touch with the marketindex team if you did not receive the e-mail. Only marketindex account owners can activate their account.
How do I get a password?
After opening the account, you receive a temporary password. During your first log in, you will be requested to change this password.
What should I do if I forget my password?
Click on the "Forgot your password" link which can be found on the account login page. A temporary password will be sent to your registered email address. If you experience any additional problems with logging into your account please contact the marketindex team.
Why can't I login with my User-ID?
You may have been locked out due to repeated login failures. Please contact us and we check the status of your account.
Why is my password not accepted?
Please be aware that passwords are case sensitive. Another reason could be the use of a temporary password on the live platform. If you have any further questions, please contact the marketindex team via phone.
What should I know when allocating a password for my demo-account?
Your new password must fulfil the following criteria:
- at least one character
- Please don't use the following characters: iI lL oO 01 äöü ÄÖÜ ß
Never give your password to a third party.
What should I know when allocating a password for my live-account?
Your new password must fulfil the following criteria:
- minimum six and maximum eight characters long
- don't use the following characters iI lL oO 01 äöü ÄÖÜ ß
- at least one capital letter
- at least one special character !@#$%">^&*.()-+=_
Never give your password to a third party.
What precautions should I keep in mind when trading online?
Please take care of your login data. Make sure this information is not accessible to others and do not carry them with you in a written form. Don't choose a password guessed easily and immediately change the password if you fear it may have been compromised.
