Money transfer processing

You can transfer funds in or out of your marketindex account from the account specified during registration. We can only accept funds from this account and no third party transfers can be accepted.

This service is provided by RBS free of charge. However, it is possible that either your bank or an intermediate bank charges a fee. RBS has no influence on these charges.

RBS processes money transfers from your account on receipt of the transfer order. Please allow three working days for the funds to be credited to your account.

How to deposit funds:

1. Log into your marketindex account.

2. Select Account > Deposits from the menu.

3. In the deposit form, specify the amount you wish to transfer.

4. Instruct your bank to send funds using these parameters:

Currency GBP
Reference Use your marketindex account number - this is the 7-digit number at the top of the marketindex application window. Avoid using any additional text since this may delay the processing of your payment.

How to withdraw funds:

You can withdraw funds from your account at any time, provided that that there are sufficient funds available. All amounts withdrawn will be paid into your reference account.

1. Log into your marketindex account.

2. Select Account > Withdrawals from the menu.

3. In the withdrawal form, specify the amount of funds you are transferring.

Always check that your bank account details are correct. If there is a discrepancy or if you would like to change any details, please contact the marketindex team.
