Although it can't save you from all your marketindex trading losses, our airbag function does mean you are protected from going overdrawn on your marketindex account. Your account will always be in the black as the Airbag ensures only the balance of your account is at risk. With marketindex you can take advantage of CFD trading without unlimited downside.
The airbag feature works by automatically closing all open positions when the net asset value in your marketindex account falls below 50% of the total margin required to maintain your open position.
The automatic close-out protects you against unlimited losses. "However, a loss incurred on a single position may trigger the Airbag and results in the close-out of all open positions on your account, even those with unrealised profit.
If you are logged in, an early warning system helps avoid unwanted closures, messaging you in advance of the Airbag being triggered. Other accounts are not affected if an Airbag is activated on one of your accounts.
